The logo design was one of many attempts. We ultimately thought that the bar code idea kind of summed up the vibe of the book at a glance. The ultimate hope is that SHMOBOTS will become so popular, and so permeate the culture as a whole, that every time anybody sees a bar code on any product anywhere, they will think of SHMOBOTS first. Alright, that may be a lot to hope for…but I can dream can’t I?
